Alexander Mashkevich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eurasian Group, gave a guest lecture on “New methods of ethical management using digital”
Guest lectures at the Academy of Public Administration have become traditional for several years. Among the lecturers are prominent state, political and public figures of Kazakhstan, including alumni of the Academy, as well as major businessmen and international partners. Such meetings of the public and the business community with master and doctoral students of the Academy are held for adopting large companies’ corporate management experience, and then adapting and applying the best practices in public service, at their work.
“The modern development of the Academy is based on current trends in the development of public administration and training of civil servants aimed at solving the state tasks of the future. It required the transformation of the Academy’s activities and the introduction of innovative technologies and tools,”said Rector of the Academy Fatima Zhakypova.
Before the lecture, the Academy Rector gave the guests a tour around the building and told about Academy’s activities and its digital innovations.
The Rector spoke about the transformation of the Academy into an educational center for IT competencies of civil servants, the first stage of which was the redesign of the study space, modernization of infrastructure equipment and installation of an integrated multimedia equipment system. The Rector told about the introduction of new technological and managerial solutions, use of online learning technologies with digital educational resources at the Academy.
The guests highly appreciated the development of digital technologies in the Academy and new approaches in designing educational programs.
“The Academy of Public Administration is one of the most important organizations. It plays a significant role in shaping the image of a civil servant and his professional development. I am glad to see innovations at the Academy, which, in fact, correspond to international standards. It is very important that the Academy keeps up with the time and provides a full-fledged education focusing on digital trends,” said Alexander Mashkevich.
On the lecture, Alexander Antonovich told the students of the Academy about modern methods of ethical management using Digital.
The lecture of the famous speaker lasted for about two hours. The audience asked their questions regarding digitalization, education, future professions, development of production in Kazakhstan, ecology, and even philosophy.
Among the participants of the lecture were the Head of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Alik Shpekbayev and the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Fatima Zhakypova, staff of the Academy and the Agency, master and doctoral students.
Antonovich Mashkevich was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Academy for his contribution to the economic development of Kazakhstan and fruitful cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
