The Center for Interethnic and Interconfessional Studies in Central Asian Region of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a seminar-training, entitled “Formula of trust and effective solutions“ Civil Service + Civil Society + Business ” on April 27, 2019, held in Blue Hall. It was devoted to representatives of the state bodies, business sector and non-governmental organizations, which is the joint project of the Center and SF “Eurasian Expert Council”, lead by Lepsibayev Chingis.
The training seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, leaders and members of various NGOs.
Aigul Sadvokasova, the head of the Center conducted an interactive training session in response to the question “Is there a conflict?”. While taking part in training, participants were asked to assess the degree of their personal conflict as well as its influence on contemporary society development.
According to the next activity the participants created a “Portrait of a happy Kazakhstani person” from various perspectives, including representatives of state authorities, business sector and NGOs as well as residents of a country. Having presented the case studies, followed by further discussion, the training participants came to know that it is essential to establish a constant dialogue and active involvement of representatives of all spheres in order to develop state programs, focused on improvement the welfare of our government.
Chingis Lepsibayev had the speech on topic: “Interaction of state bodies with NGOs and business: foreign and Kazakhstan experience”. He presented the basic principles of the work of state bodies in cooperation with NGOs. He also commented on the values and principles of public participation in decision-making processes by state authorities through tools for involving the population in decision-making processes in order to obtain expert opinions and to form the measures to change the policies of civil society participation in the functioning of government bodies.
The participants of the seminar, entitled “Formula of trust and effective solutions” Civil Service + Civil Society + Business” highlighted the significance of conducting similar seminars, which enable to create squad of exerts from various field of a society and expressed their gratitude to the Academy.
