The Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov visited the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan. The Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs Anar Zhailganova and responsible employees of the two Agencies participated in the meeting.
To attention of the guests of the Academy were shown the infrastructure and own information products, presented research activities and proposed measures to promote the country’s Anti-Corruption Strategy.
The Center for Anti-Corruption Research and Compliance has been functioning since 2015 in the Academy. The Center, with the support of the Anti-Corruption Agency, implements anti-corruption research and analytical projects, develops various training programs, and also provides methodological support for the implementation of an anti-corruption management system in organizations. «We have the necessary intellectual and expert potential, capable of fulfilling the tasks of improving the anti-corruption policy at a professional level»,- said Yerzhan Zharov, Deputy Head of the Center for Anti-Corruption Research and Compliance during his presentation.
During the meeting, the head of the Center for Applied Research and International Partnership of the Academy Anar Yessengeldina noted that «the expert staff of the Center expresses their readiness to cooperate in the framework of research activities».
Marat Muratovich highly appreciated the ongoing work of the Academy and urged to expand interaction with the structural divisions of the Agency in key areas. Finally, following the meeting, an agreement was reached on holding joint events in the nearly future.
