A seminar on a results-based leadership strategy started at the Academy

From April 3 to 7, 2017, at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign experts Andreas Baumgartner and Philip Dearden conduct a upgrading qualification seminar on the topic: “Analytics for Civil Servants”.

Civil servants of the Presidential Administration, the Office of the Prime Minister, the Senate of the Parliament, the Constitutional Council, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Accounts Committee and other central and local state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan participate in the seminar.

The seminar aim is develop the understanding of the participants for the whole analytical process, from problem definition via information/data gathering and analysis to synthesis and presentation of meaningful and reliable insights, and introduce to the specific frameworks and tools that are immediate practical relevance with a chance to experiment with them hands-on during the seminar and then take them to their day-to-day jobs.

Dr. Andreas Baumgartner is Founder and managing partner of StIR Strategy Impact Reputation FZE (United Arab Emirates), highly-qualified trainer, an experienced specialist in the consulting services rendering in the public and private sectors. He has over 20 years of experience in conducting numerous trainings in different countries. For several years he was a Partner of the Tony Blair Association and in charge of government advisory activities in the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. Also has experience working as a leading trainer of the Training Week of Business Analytics of the leading international McKinsey & Company.

Prof. Philip N. Dearden is the Head of the Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT), Wolverhampton University (UK). Has many years of experience as a consultant on organizational development and project/program management, as well as a trainer for the project cycle, programs, logical matrix, engaged in issues of collective assessment, monitoring and evaluation, policy development, institutional and organizational analysis, strategic planning, etc.
