Today Rector of the Academy Yerlan Abil met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Toomas Tirs. The Chairman of the NGO “Diplomatic Club “Astana” Kaiyrbolat Sakhmetov, the chief consultant of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meiirman Gubaydullaev, the head of the international partnership sector Zhanyl Bekmurzaeva participated to the meeting.
During the meeting, Toomas Tirs spoke about Estonia’s experience in building a digital state.
In speech, Yerlan Abil informed the ambassador about the activities of the Academy and introduced him to the main tasks that the organization faces in professionalizing the state apparatus. Separately, the issues of debureaucratization of state bodies, digitalization of public services, holding digital elections, etc. were touched upon.
The representative of the Agency, Meyirman Gubaydullaev, spoke about the achieved and prospective tasks for the digitalization of public services.
The parties agreed to develop relations in the field of education, conducting applied research, exchanging experience in the digitalization of government agencies and the provision of public services.
