On June 8-10, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan co-organized the Human Capital Forum “Integration Code” in Turkestan.
On the first day, at a joint panel session of the Astana Public Service Hub and the Academy, a conversation took place on the topic: Attraction, retention, evaluation, motivation, development.
The discussion was attended by: Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Astana Civil Service Hub, Berkimbaev Berik, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bahram Khalilov, Deputy Chairman of the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Savash Ceylan, Head of the Human Resources Development Department of the Human Resources Management Office under the President of the Republic of Turkey, Rex Feiser, President of Faer Management Consulting, member of the Advisory Board of the Astana Civil Service Hub, USA, Yerlan Abil Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the session raised the acute issues of attracting and retaining effective employees in the civil service, the issues of developing civil servants through their assessment and motivation.
On the second day, the Rector of the Academy took part as a speaker in the section: “Society and management: from Al-Farabi to a new reality. The participants of the section discussed issues of public administration and the influence of historical traditions of governance on modern public administration.
The discussion was attended by: Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Astana Civil Service Hub, Botagoz Rakisheva, Scientific Consultant of the Research Institute “Public Opinion”, Hurriyet Ersoy, Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Kulshat Medeuova, Head of the Department of Philosophy of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Rex Feiser, President of Faer Management Consulting, member of the Advisory Board of the Astana Civil Service Hub, USA, Sultan Akimbekov, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies.
At the end of the Forum, a Hackathon was held, where participants solved practical cases, including the task of centralizing the personnel services of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As a result, several solutions were proposed that interested the representatives of the Agency.
