The memorandum was signed on July 4 within the framework of Kazakhstan-Tatarstan Business Forum. First Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as well as the Tatar business delegation participated in the signing ceremony.
The document will promote bilateral cooperation between the Academy and KFU focusing on training and re-training of civil servants, design of academic materials and new teaching methods as well as faculty exchange. The seminar for senior leaders of municipal executive committees of the Republic of Tatarstan this September will mark the first step to implement the cooperation road map.
It is worth to note that the business forum was a platform for signing other memoranda and agreements. Notably, the Memoranda of Cooperation between the Agency of Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Astana International Financial Centre, the Industrial and Commercial Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Atameken National Entrepreneurs Chamber as well as the Agreement of cooperation between the IT Park (Kazan) and IT and Astana Hub Startups International Technopark.
