The Academy leadership held an online meeting with the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Both academies are going to continue joint efforts within the Road Map for 2017-2018 signed between Kazakhstan and Belarus. The parties determined the activities to be implemented in the short term and discussed other ways of strengthening cooperation. Thus, the Academy proposed to jointly design cases and hold online lectures on evidence-based decision making and other topics. As for the Belarus party, the colleagues expressed their interest in learning Kazakhstan’s experience on personnel policy, assessment of civil servants effectiveness and civil servants competences, as well as designing civil servants individual plans of professional development. Along with that, due to the fact that there is no a single government agency dealing with civil service affairs and anti-corruption, the Belarusian colleagues pointed out the importance of analyzing the experience of establishing and functioning of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
