The Kiran Debate Club was organized by the Institute of Management on the basis of the Rector’s order No. 728 dated October 20, 2023.
- The students of the Academy, employees, and teams of government agencies formed by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan can take part in the game of the Kiran intellectual debate club.
- The game of the Kiran Intellectual debate Club will be held in the American Parliamentary Format (APF).
- Over the course of two years, the debate club organized and conducted games in cooperation with the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the central authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students and staff of the Academy. In the first season, the games were organized in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, and English), which addressed many pressing issues. During the game, the participants of the debate developed the ability to think, improve communication skills, and form a debating culture. In other words, the intellectual debate club “Kyran” has become not only a common platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
- In the first season, the teams of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and the Academy, the educational program “Regional Development”, reached the finals, according to the results of which the Academy team won.
The opening of the second season of the Kiran debate club began with a game between the Academy teams and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the season, teams from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the judicial administrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the games. The games were held in the official language. - The teams of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reached the quarter finals of the second season, in which the team of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan won.
