                on writing a master's project / dissertation

   1. General Provisions

       1.1 This guide to writing a master's project (hereinafter referred to as the
    Guide) has been developed and complies with the Law of the Republic of
    Kazakhstan "On Education", the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On
    Science", the State Compulsory Standard of Postgraduate Education, other by-
    laws, the Development Strategy of the Academy for 2020-2023 years and
    internal legal acts of the Academy.

       1.2 The manual determines the mandatory requirements for the structure,
    content and design of master's projects carried out by students of master's degree
    programs at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the
    Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Academy), and also determines the
    functions of scientific leaders and technical secretaries.

       1.3 The development of result-oriented research is one of the cornerstones
    of the Academy's Development Strategy for 2020-2023. Writing a master's
    project at the Academy in this respect is of a practical nature and aims to solve
    critical challenges in the field of public administration.

       1.4 Master's project is a study based on the knowledge gained at the
    Academy, containing theoretical and experimental results, well-grounded
    arguments, suggestions and recommendations that allow solving practical
    problems that are important in the field of public administration (foreign students
    can carry out a master's thesis, taking into account the requirements sending
    country).

       1.5 The master's project is written individually and, the author is responsible
    for its content.
