         to the thesis work on the topic "Economic mechanisms for increasing
        the competitiveness of agricultural production in the Republic of

       Urgency of the research. The globalization of the agricultural economy,
Kazakhstan's membership in the World Trade Organization require competitive
agricultural products to enter the food market. Agricultural enterprises must not only
bring products to market, but also stay ahead of competitors by applying new
innovative technologies.

       The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in "Kazakhstan - 2050" Strategy
noted the need for large-scale modernization of agriculture, especially in the face of
growing global demand for agricultural products.

       To solve this problem, an agricultural enterprise is forced to constantly
improve its qualitative and quantitative characteristics, offering products and
services that meet market requirements. Therefore, for a long and stable provision
of a competitive process, it is necessary to use effective economic mechanisms.

       In modern conditions, increasing the competitiveness of agricultural
production is one of the main goals of the state agrarian policy, in pursuance of
which the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex in the
Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021 is being implemented.

       In these conditions, is relevant the work aimed at increasing the economic
mechanisms of the competitiveness of agricultural production.

       Extent of previous research of the problem. In this thesis work, the
problems of competitiveness of agricultural production are investigated. Certain
aspects of these issues are considered in the works of domestic and foreign scientists.

       Much attention in the thesis work is paid to the issues of disclosing the concept
of "competition", which are investigated in the scientific works of A. Smith, M.
Porter, A.O. Cournot, I. Schumpeter, F. Haiyek, A. Yudanov, R. Fatkhutdinov, K.A.
Sagadiyev, O. Sabden, M.G. Dolinskaya, I.A. Solovyev and etc.

       The study of issues related to increasing the competitiveness of agricultural
production was carried out by T.I. Yespolov, T.I. Lenskaya, Ye.A. Yurkova, K.R.
Saubanov, M.Ye. Anokhina, R. Fitriani, Ye. Sumarminingsi, S. Lin, J. Lin and other
scientists.

       At the same time, despite the large number of scientific works covering the
development of competitiveness of agricultural production, research in this direction
is debatable and insufficiently developed. The need to further study the economic
mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of agricultural production is
especially acute.
