Today in the branch of the Academy in Zhambyl region has started a seminar for civil servants in the field of program «Project management in public administration». Akim of Zhambyl region Berdibek Saparbayev, rector of the Academy Yerlan Abil, head of the Center for Applied Research and International Partnership Anar Yessengeldina attended the first day of the seminar.
«President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev approved the list of national development projects. It includes 10 projects in various areas. The state apparatus is assigned an important role as a conductor of transformations in all spheres of society. The successful implementation of state programs depends on civil servants. 4887 civil servants work in the Zhambyl region. The percentage of women in the civil service is 41%. The ranks of civil servants are getting younger, highly educated young people come to work. Employees with extensive experience share their experience with them. In total, 727 civil servants are scheduled to train this year, of which 599 civil servants have been trained, – noted the regional akim Berdibek Saparbayev and wished success to the audience, stressing that the knowledge gained during seminar should be effectively used in the implementation of national projects.
«By the decree of the President of the country, the Concept for the Development of Public Administration in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030 was approved, within the framework of which the transition from administrative and control orientation to a service model of interaction between the state and the population will be carried out. In accordance with the Instructions of the Head of State, measures are being taken to introduce the project approach in public administration. A list of national projects was also approved, and a decision was made to establish project offices of state bodies. All this is done so that civil servants, as part of the implementation of various initiatives, use project management tools. The essence of project management is the development of an optimal solution to obtain high results at the lowest cost», – said the rector of the Academy Yerlan Abil in his speech.
The seminar will continue until November 19. Participants will pass a certification exam according to the national standard ST RK ISO 21500-2014 «Project Management Guide».
