A seminar on effective tools for managing hard subordinates started at the Academy

From April 24 to 26, 2017, at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign experts Sam Chia and Maria Sultanova conduct a upgrading qualification seminar on the topic “Effective management tools. “Hard” subordinates”.

Civil servants of the Presidential Administration, the Office of the Prime Minister, the Senate of the Parliament, the Constitutional Council and other central and local state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan participate in the seminar.

The seminar aim is learning management skills and using effective management tools for motivating subordinates for improve activity results and also studying the working steps with “hard” subordinates.

Sam Chia (Singapore) is the founder and CEO of SC Coaching Asia Pte Ltd, has many years of experience as vice president and managing director of subsidiaries of well-known companies in South East Asia and India. He has more than 25 years experience as International business leader, coach, consultant and facilitator. Member of the Association Certified Public Accountants (FCCA) of Great Britain, Singapore (FCA) and Malaysia (CPA), also he is certified coach trainer and practicing specialist at Marshall Goldsmith’s School of Global Leadership for the Future of 360º Evaluation (USA), a Certified Coach of the Canadian Council of Professional Certification and the American University of NLP, as well as several other coaching centers around the world. Sam Chia has conducted numerous coaching trainings for Senior executive and managers, both private and public organizations of different countries.

M. Sultanova (Russian Federation) is certified coach, business-trainer, Head of the project IС «Allianz РОСНО», and training department IMS Retail. Maria has extensive experience in the personnel training and development. She conducted more than 150 hours of coaching-practice with customers, leaders, and also as well as original trainings on topics as “Management Communications”, “Talents of employees: we identify, develop. use”, “Developing approach in work with employees: mentoring and coaching”, “How to stay effective and satisfied in a constant stress environment”, “A successful leader. Emotional competence in business” and etc.

Based on the results of the seminar, it is expected that civil servants will improve management skills in everyday interaction with subordinates and identify their strengths, understand the role and responsibility in motivating employees, how to work with difficult subordinates.

After the seminar listeners will be awarded certificates.
