The guest lecture was held at the Institute of Management of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the format of “interactive discussion” with the participation of the Head of the non-tariff regulation sector, JSC “Center for the Development of Trade Policy” under the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, alumnus of the “Bolashak” International Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Strokatov Alexander Sergeevich on the topic: “Kazakhstan’s accession to the WTO: experience and knowledge”.
The guest lecture was organized by the senior lecturer Zhanbolatova A.Sh., within the framework of the project “Our knowledge to our country” initiated by the Association of Alumni of the “Bolashak”, this lecture was attended by lecturers and master students of the Institute of Management.
During the interactive discussion, Strokatov A.S. shared his experience in bringing the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in line with the WTO norms, as well as on the conditions for access to the market for services and goods. The agreements of the EAEC have also been brought into line with the WTO rules. During the interactive discussion, the master students learned the expert opinion on the issues of interest to them and shared their suggestions.
