On 17 June, 2017 the Academy leadership held a meeting with the delegation of the China National Institute for Shanghai Cooperation Organization at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (CNISCO) led by Professor Wang Weimin, Dean of the School of International Studies and Public Administration, CNISCO.
The purpose of the meeting was to foster cooperation between the Academy and CNISCO. The parties agreed to develop partnership in the areas of training cadres in public administration and research in the mentioned field. The cooperation implies exchange of students for short-term training programs and internships, inviting scholars and experts for delivering lectures, courses and seminars, and conducting joint research in the spheres of public administration, anti-corruption, international relations and etc.
The parties highlighted the importance of such cooperation for maintaining peace and security in the region, and improving understanding between the people of both countries.
During their visit to Astana, the delegation participated in the Global Conference “Managing Opportunities: global challenges of leadership” coorganized by the Academy within X Astana Economic Forum on 15-16 June.
CNISCO was established by the initiative of Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China. The role of the organization is to train legal and other professional for Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
