Today the doctoral students of the Academy were awarded diplomas.
Today, was a meeting of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan and the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue.
Today, colleagues from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan organized an online meeting on the topic «State and prospects of improving the system of state and social construction in Uzbekistan».
On May 19, 2021, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Nur-Sultan, Mr. Volker Frobarth.
The Rector of the Academy, Mr. Yerlan Abil, congratulated Mr. Frobarth on his new appointment and presented the strategic priorities, goals and objectives of the Academy. During this meeting, Academy shared the latest development to its current and future projects for the professional development of civil servants, for conducting applied research and providing consulting services to government agencies.
On March 2, 2021, the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Azizullah Omar, visited the Academy.
Scientific research in the field of public administration and civil service
Today on 15th of January 2021 jointly organized a Webinar by UNDESA and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the Development Day.
Based on the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing Emergence and Spread of Coronavirus in Kazakhstan dated of December 20, 2020
16 June, Nur-Sultan – 1000 civil servants of the central and local executive bodies of Kazakhstan will upgrade their digital and
communication skills to ensure their effectiveness under the telecommuting model of work. The learning programme is inclusive, and takes into account the needs of 342 civil servants with disabilities, who are participating in the programme.
So, we are pleased to inform you about the results of the nationwide essay contest “Development Strategy of Kazakhstan” held among Civil Servants from May 20 to June 5, 2020. In accordance with the requirements for the competition, 131 applications were submitted and considered. Of this 67 in Kazakh, 61 in Russian, and 3 applications are in English.
Foreign civil servants have an opportunity to study at the Academy of Public Administration within grants from Astana Public Service Hub. Academy serves as a platform for an advanced educational program in public administration for civil servants of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.

Last Saturday, an Open Day was held at the Academy of public administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan.
The Academy Rector held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio, during the visit of the Ambassador to Kazakhstan. This year, a memorandum of cooperation is expected to be signed between the Academy and Argentine Diplomatic Academy.
From 27 to 29 June 2019, the 16th Conference of the European Society for Central Asian Studies (ESCAS) was held at the University of Exeter (United Kingdom). ESCAS conferences are held biennially and bring together researchers from Central Asia on a wide range of issues: from culture and history to public administration and politics. This year’s conference, the global theme of which was “Globalization of Central Asia”, was attended by over 200 researchers who were involved in the work of 62 panels, 8 round tables, as well as two book discussions, including the draft of a new textbook.
Негосударственное учреждение "Независимое агентство по обеспечению качества в образовании (IQAA)" создана в 2008 году и является первой казахстанской некоммерческой неправительственной организацией в сфере оценки качества организаций образования и образовательных программ. IQAA - организация, действующая и признанная не только на национальном, но и на международном уровнях. EAPAA – единственный орган по обеспечению качества в сфере государственного управления, действующий по всей Европе. На сегодняшний день он аккредитовал более 70 программ по всему континенту, включая большинство ведущих институтов в этой области.

Non-governmental organization "Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education" (IQAA) was established in 2008 and is the first Kazakhstan non-profit non-governmental organization in the field of quality assessment of educational organizations and educational programs.
IQAA is an organization acting and recognized not only at the national level, but also at the international level. The Agency works on the development of new ideas and forms for quality assurance in educational institutions, focused on results with a professional and creative team of employees.
European Association for Public Administration Accreditation
“promotes the quality of European academic level public administration programmes by developing appropriate accreditation standards for such programmes through its Accreditation Committee” Since 1999 the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA) has helped European public administration programmes to improve and assure their quality through accreditation. EAPAA is the only quality assurance authority in Public Administration which is active throughout Europe. It has by now accredited more than 70 programmes across the continent, including most leading institutes in the field.
30.04.2017 - Академия государственного управления при Президенте РК и Дипломатическая академия Эмиратов подписали Меморандум о сотрудничестве целью которого является обмен информацией, исследовательскими работами, исследованиями и знаниями в рамках своей области знаний и с учетом интересов каждой Стороны, а также координация и сотрудничество в программах обучения, коммуникации, инициативах и мероприятиях.
30.04.2017 - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Emirates Diplomatic Academy signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at exchanging information, research, studies and knowledge within its field of expertise and taking into account the interests of each Party, as well as coordination and cooperation in training programs, communication, initiatives and activities.
11.10.2022 - Академия государственного управления при Президенте РК и Культурное сотрудничество Vrije Universiteit Brussel подписали Меморандум по обмену и сотрудничеству в области исследований и образования. Важными направлениями сотрудничества, это - обмен профессорами, исследователями, техническим и административным персоналом и студентами, которые могут осуществляться на долгосрочной и краткосрочной основе.
11.10.2022 - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Cultural Cooperation Vrije Universiteit Brussel signed a Memorandum of Exchange and Cooperation in the field of research and education. Important areas of cooperation are the exchange of professors, researchers, technical and administrative staff and students, which can be carried out on a long-term and short-term basis.

Цель Меморандума: мобильность студентов для обучения за рубежом, обмен опытом и мобильность преподавателей для академических поездок, а также, обмен научными материалами, публикациями и информацией.
The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mykolas Romeris University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The purpose of the Memorandum: mobility of students to study abroad, exchange of experience and mobility of teachers for academic trips, as well as, exchange of scientific materials, publications and information.
2017 г. - Академия государственного управления при Президенте РК и Нью-Йоркским университетом был подписан Меморандум о повышении квалификации госслужащих. Цель сотрудничества основано в совместных исследованиях в области госуправления, государственной политики и государственной службы, международных отношений, проектного менеджмента, и противодействия коррупции и в организация совместных мероприятий.
2017 - Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and New York University signed a Memorandum on professional development of civil servants. The purpose of cooperation is based on joint research in the field of public administration, public policy and public service, international relations, project management, and anti-corruption and in the organization of joint activities.
8.06.2022 - Академия государственного управления при Президенте РК и Офис по управлению человеческими ресурсами при Президенте Турецкой Республики подписали Меморандум о сотрудничестве. Главными направления сотрудничества — это обмен печатными и наглядными материалами по обучению персонала, повышению квалификации, оценке персонала и обмен знаниями и опытом в области подготовки кадров, повышения квалификации, оценки персонала.
8.06.2022 - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Human Resources Management Office under the President of the Republic of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The main areas of cooperation are the exchange of printed and visual materials on personnel training, professional development, personnel assessment and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of personnel training, professional development, personnel assessment.
23.06.2022 г. - Академия государственного управления при Президенте РК и Университет прикладных наук Сейняйоки подписали Меморандум о развитии сотрудничества в области подготовки специалистов.
Стороны будут поощряют развитие сотрудничества в области научных исследований: разработку и участие в совместных научно-исследовательских проектах, организацию и проведение совместных научных мероприятий (форумов, симпозиумов, конференций, совещаний экспертов).
23.06.2022 - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences signed a Memorandum on the development of cooperation in the field of training specialists.
The parties will encourage the development of cooperation in the field of scientific research: development and participation in joint research projects, organization and conduct of joint scientific events (forums, symposiums, conferences, expert meetings).

25.04.2022 - The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University signed a Memorandum on the development of joint projects and activities aimed at improving the qualifications of Kazakhstani civil servants and further research in the field of public administration, public service, public policy, international relations, project management and anti-corruption.
