The republican seminar-training on “Modernization of public consciousness: educational, humanitarian and socio-cultural principles and mechanisms of implementation” supported by the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan has begun at the Academy.
Civil servants dealing with public policy issues in the areas of interethnic and interconfessional affairs, social harmony and nation-wide unity, experts of religious affairs and languages development departments, servants of law enforcement system, heads and experts of regional secretariats of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, and representatives of maslikhats of all levels have participated in a three day training seminar organized for the purpose of implementation of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev’s article “Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity”. They will take part in lectures and trainings, which will give them concrete directions for the programme implementation, and have a chance to discuss and share ideas. They will upgrade skills of the implementation of state programmes by undergoing “Project management” training. With the help of well experienced lecturers they will examine the ways of implementing modernization of social consciousness in regions.
The seminar was inaugurated with an opening speech of Y. Dusipov, Vice-Rector of the Academy, who highlighted the importance of the seminar: “The Head of State considers competitiveness as the main value of the modernization of identity. The Leader of the Nation reasonably underlines that in order to succeed nowadays not only an individual but a whole nation has to raise its competitiveness. International competitiveness requires being a leader not only in the field of economy but also in the intellectual area” .
The Vice-Chairman of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan – Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan at the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. D. Mynbai said: “Striving for unity, peace and harmony – is the prerequisite for prosperity and development in any society. If we look back to history, a strong nation outstands by showing the ability to unite for the purpose of development and standing against challenges and threats. Due to unity and harmony we all live, work, make families without worry and able to plan our own future. For us the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan is the main element of the Kazakhstani model of unity and harmony. This is the institute that reflects the unity of the polyethnic community of Kazakhstan”.
The republican seminar-training will last till 25 August.
