Chairman of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Public Service Affairs and Anticorruption – Alik Shpekbayev and rector of the Academy – Fatima Zhakypova visited the branch of the Academy at Kostanay region, and with participation of akim of Kostanay region – Archimed Mukhambetov held a meeting with the target group of rural districts’ akims, which are currently undertaking training at the seminar “Transformation of the system of state administration and local self-government”.
At the meeting, new approaches to the management of communal property, issues of project management in the public administration system were considered.
Fatima Zhakypova presented the main aspects of the project “Strengthening the potential of rural akims for the development of the region” in the regions of Kazakhstan, by highlighting updated content and unification of approaches to the educational process organization in the Academy system.
Participants of the training noted the pragmatic approach to training civil servants from the point of view of regional development. Success stories were presented. Thus, following the retraining courses for newly appointed managers in June of the current year the project “Establishment of an enterprise carrying out services for the removal of solid household waste in the Denisovsky rural district of the Denisovsky district” was developed by Nakonechny V. – the akim of this rural district. At the moment it is implemented in partnership with a business entity and its expansion is planned. This experience was marked by the Chairman as positive and recommended for study.
In addition, participants had a chance to receive comprehensive answers to their pending questions.
