Discussion of the research results of the Institute of Legislation

Today, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has become an effective expert platform for discussing issues of modern development.

One of these issues is the implementation of the norms of international human rights treaties (civil and political rights) into the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On December 5, 2018, the Academy held an open discussion of the results achieved by the Institute of Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on this topic with the participation of the National Center for Human Rights.

There were comments from government agencies – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Information and Communication. Representatives of UNICEF and the International Organization for Migration proposed their recommendations. In addition, the discussion was attended by representatives of the academic community – the Academy of Justice at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KAZGUU University, ENU. L.N. Gumilyov, Eurasian Humanities Institute, University “Turan-Astana”.

The past event fell on a par with other activities of the Academy of Public Administration, aimed at the integration efforts of government agencies and experts in a single intellectual space.
