In the period from 27th to 29th November, 2017 in Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is held a seminar on a topic “Internet space monitoring” with the participation of an expert from Canada Michael Kujawski.
Michael Kujawski is a managing partner and senior consultant at the Center for Excellence in Public Sector Marketing (CEPSM). He specializes in strategic marketing, digital/social networks, personal and organizational branding, marketing research, social networking analysis and marketing changes in social behavior. His specialization also includes strategic planning, organizational restructuring, risk management, including the development of recommendations on recruitment and organizational policy. Among the clients of M. Kujawski state organizations, such as the Electoral Committee of Canada, the Financial Inspection Authority, the Canadian Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, the Canadian National Security Committee, the National Defense Department, the Peel and Sander Bay Health Department, the Government of Tanzania and etc.
The seminar will cover the following issues: review of the global digital landscape, including the situation in Kazakhstan, key digital trends, which need to know about public administration, introduction to monitoring, examples of free and improved Internet monitoring tools, effective identification and correction of inaccurate information and other.
During this seminar, participants will learn to strategically “listen” to the modern online environment for making effective decisions, as well as identifying and correcting inauthentic information in the Internet space. Based on the results of the training, students will get a practical understanding of the use of various tools and techniques for monitoring the Internet space.
Civil servants of the Presidential Administration, State Protection Service and other central and local state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan participate in the seminar.
After the seminar, listeners will be awarded certificates.
