The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosts training on the topic “Transformational leadership in a changing world” for the heads of territorial divisions of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ondasyn Urazalin in his opening speech to the event emphasized the relevance and importance of conducting the training in the context of strengthening the processes of global political and economic transformation.
Taking into account the ongoing processes, the speaker stressed that transformational leadership acquires particular importance when the ability to see the global picture and solve strategic tasks emerges, and in this regard, it is already necessary to start training leaders of the new formation.
In his welcoming address to the participants, the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, Alik Shpekbayev, underlined that the civil service system is going through an important stage of transformation to dynamically changing global trends. Currently, he also noted it is necessary to develop practical skills and competencies among civil servants for professional performance.
The developed training program is aimed at a substantial increase in the efficiency of the work of civil servants and consists of five modules, including: transformational leadership, organizational development, reengineering of the activities of state agencies, an innovative state apparatus, project management.
Foreign and domestic business coaches, trainers, experts from public organizations are invited to conduct hands-on classes.
During the training, participants will conduct interactive discussions on modern management methods of Scrum and Agile, organizational development, interaction with citizens and develop projects with the development of constructive proposals for the transformation of the public administration system.
