The International Symposium on “Language, Culture, Science in the New Civilization Context” was held at the Academy on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was held jointly with the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Society of Russian Language and Literature Teachers and the Kazakhstan Public Association “Graduates of Russian Universities”
The Symposium was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan Leonid Andreyevich Prokopenko, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Fatima Nadyrovna Zhakypova, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Anatolyevich Koropchenko, Head of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov Anatoly Afanasyevich Bashmakov, member of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, doctor of philology their sciences, professor Eleonora Dyusenovna Suleimenova and others.
The authors of scientific, educational, popular science books presented their work, released in different publishing houses, such as Astana, Almaty, Kokshetau, Karaganda, Moscow, Minsk, 2018.
The international symposium has covered the following topics:
– The world of the Kazakh language: language learning in terms of multilingualism;
– Fairy tale and culture of communication with children in the XXI century;
– The language space of Kazakhstan in terms of updating the content of education;
– Epoch and personality: traditions and continuity in science;
– Humane pedagogy: children’s dreams and books;
– Foreign language education in Kazakhstan: yesterday, today, tomorrow.
A member of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philology, Professor Nursulu Shaimerdenova discussed the issues of interaction of languages, cultures, and scientific research in her speech on topic “Glossy in the history of words: from Homer to modern texts”.
Participants of the panel discussions disputed research topics devoted to multilingualism (Kazakh, Russian, English, languages of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan) and language development in Kazakhstan, mentioning children’s reading; highlighting the importance of establishing the joint reading culture of parents and children; advancing pedagogical skills and skills in the aspect of humane pedagogy; and themes on digitization of the scientific heritage of scientists of Kazakhstan and its role of the scientific and educational project, entitled: “Epoch and Personality” in the preservation and dissemination of the classic works of scientists of Kazakhstan; contributing in the methodology of scientific research.
The idea and promotion of the symposium belongs to a member of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Nursulu Shaimerdenova, as well as the Scientific and Educational Project “Epoch and Personality”, headed by a member of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor Mayura Buribaeva.
The participants of the symposium, has highlighted the significance of the forum, which promotes the establishment of new creative ties and the unification of the scientific potential of CIS scientists for solving urgent problems of the humanities, expressed particular gratitude to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for organizing and creating favorable conditions for scientific discussion, and encouraged to become historically active actors in the formation and preservation of the spiritual potential and cultural code of the nation.
