Singapore experience from inside out

The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Singapore Civil Service College under the Prime Minister of Singapore, with the support of the Singapore Development Fund Temasek, is implementing a project aimed at capacity building of Kazakhstan’s civil servants. Within the project, the civil servants undergo an intensive training in Singapore on 19-23 November.
Over the course of the training, the participants will learn the principles and approaches to management in Singapore, the economic success factors, aspects of anti-corruption and other issues. The training is conducted by Singapore’s former and current civil servants, which allows to gain information not only on successful experience, but also on so-called first-hand lessons.
Another feature of the curriculum is the possibility of visiting Singapore’s government agencies and getting to know with their working methods.
The project will be continued in Kazakhstan, where civil servants on the basis of the Academy of Public Administration will develop and present a draft of practical recommendations for the further development of the country, taking into account the Singapore experience.
