Today, the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Fatima Zhakypova, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emiratesto the Republic of Kazakhstan Mohammad Ahmad Sultan Essa Aljaber. In the course of the meeting, participants discussed issues related to further cooperation in civil service, e-government and anti-corruption between the Academy and UAE State educational Institutions, such as Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Governance (Dubai) and the Emirate Diplomatic Academy (Abu Dhabi). The parties also discussed the possibilities of developing postgraduate educational programs and trainings for UAE civil servants at the Academy.
The Rector noted that the UAE is one of the countries where effective reforms are being implemented and expressed readiness to strengthen strategic relations with partner universities. Particular interest was shown for the organization of internships for the Academy’s graduate students in the UAE institutions, as well as exchange of experience between teaching staff and other joint research activities. The Ambassador Mohammad Ahmad Sultan Essa Aljaber highly appreciated Academy’s activities and expressed full readiness to support any initiatives and perspective joint projects.
