TRAINING OF PARTICIPANTS IN ELECTORAL PROCESSES

Improving the competencies of employees of the electoral systemin the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as training go the participants in the electoral process in order to train trainers for training various target groups of participants in the electoral process using the cascade training method, professionalizing the activities of territorial election authorities. Organization of training courses on an ongoing basis to improve their professional competencies and skills in electoral legislation, law enforcement and the specifics of the electoral process, including taking into account modern world practice.

Electoral training of participants in the electoral process is carried out on the basis of subparagraph 5 of Article12, subparagraph 11-1) of Article14,subparagraph 9-1 of Article 18 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 1995 № 2464 ″On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, ”A set of measures for organizing training of participants in the electoral processing the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025″, approved by Resolution of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 11, 2024 № 57/73 and Training Schedules for training election organizers and other participants in the electoral process at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its branches, approved annually in coordination with the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan/TEC.

The training courses are implemented at the Electoral Training Center of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the region al branches of the Academy.

Learning formats: lectures, interactive discussions, practical exercises, small group work, case study, classes with a combination of distance, face-to-face and other interactive forms of learning.

The formation of lists of candidates for training in all target groups is carried out by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan and territorial election commissions.

The duration of advanced training courses ranges from 8 to 90 academic hours.
