2. Theme of the master's project (research)
2.1 Each Academy student has a reference from a state body at the time of
document submission, which shows an instruction to undertake study on a certain subject.
The students who have entered the Academy's EP at the expense of other sources of
funding, when submitting documents shall indicate the topic of the proposed research.
2.2 Within two months after the enrollment of a master's student the subject of
the master's project (research) is approved by the order of the Academy Rector based on
the AC decision and a supervisor is appointed.
3. Scientific advisor
3.1 Supervisors shall be contracted to provide supervisory services within two weeks
after the signing of the relevant order (this paragraph does not apply to supervisors
according to the approved annual workload of the Institutes/NSPP).
3.2 Functions of the scientific supervisor:
3.2.1 Determine the stages of scientific research for the whole period of study and
monitor their fulfillment;
3.2.2 To control (demand, monitor) the fulfillment of the IPR of the assigned master
student;
3.2.3 Be responsible for compliance with the schedule of defenses of the assigned
master's student;
3.2.4 Facilitate and provide consultations in the process of research work; provide
feedback on the materials submitted by the master's student;
3.2.5. Upon completion of the master's project (research), provide the master's student
with a review of the supervisor.
4. Responsibilities of the Technical Secretary
4.1 Verify the master’s project for originality of the text (for the existence of
borrowings) in the Academy’s current borrowing detection system.
4.2 Coordinates and is responsible for the process of sending and receiving
feedback from external reviewers, including encodes the work: data about the author of the
work and protects the work from downloading before sending it to the reviewer.
4.3 Verify the compliance of the master’s projects with the regulatory control
standards outlined in Appendix 1 of this Guide. In the event of a double degree program,
the work might be codified according to the partner university’s standards.
4.4 Arrange members of the State Attestation Commission to vote online.
4.5 Keeps video recording of the final certification.
4.6 Fills out the Protocol and other documentation for the final certification and
authorizes it (in electronic and paper form). Within two weeks of the final certification, the
signed documentation in hard copy is delivered to the Center for Educational Policy.
4.7 Submits master’s projects in electronic form to the Information Resource
Center within a week of the act’s defense in line with Appendix 2.
