Research objectives:
- Study the theoretical aspects of livestock development and efficiency
improvement;
- Systematize the methodology for assessing the economic efficiency of
livestock development;
- Analyze international experience in effective livestock development;
- Analyze the current state and identify trends in livestock development in
Kazakhstan;
- Identify problems and reserves for improving economic efficiency in
livestock development in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Develop a mechanism to enhance economic efficiency in regional livestock
development;
- Formulate a strategy to improve economic efficiency in regional livestock
development.
Subject and object of the research.
The object of the research is livestock farming in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The subject of the research is the theoretical, methodological, and organizational
support for the mechanism to enhance economic efficiency in livestock development.
The theoretical and methodological foundation of the research includes contemporary
economic theory and livestock theory, while the information base comprises
regulatory acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and statistical and financial reports on
livestock enterprises.
Research methods. The methodological foundation of the research is based on
studies employing systematic and statistical methodologies, as well as methods of
economic-mathematical modeling and structural analysis. The objectives of the study
enabled the use of the following research methods: observation-focused perception of
phenomena in objective reality; modeling-constructing and studying models of
objects, phenomena, and processes; analysis - a method of scientific research that
divides an object into components; synthesis—a method of scientific research that
integrates separate elements into a whole; abstraction—a method that highlights
specific properties and relationships by isolating certain properties and
interconnections of a phenomenon; generalization—a method that examines
characteristics and features reflecting common traits and properties of objects and
phenomena; induction—a method based on deriving general rules from specific data;
deduction—a method of deriving specific conclusions from general rules; and
systemic analysis—a method for assessing the effectiveness of managerial staff and
determining and justifying the composition and structure of the evaluation criteria
system.
The main provisions submitted for protection, which are the main results
of the study:
1. A system of animal productivity indicators according to criteria that
consider conditions affecting livestock efficiency.
