THE CODE OF ETHICS AND ACADEMIC INTEGRITY OF THE
STUDENTS/TRAINEES OF ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Preamble
The Academy of Public Administration under the president of the Republic of
Kazakhstan (hereinafter – Academy) being aware of the social and educational role
recognizes the fundamental principles and ethical values, adopted by the international
scientific community, which underlie the research and educational activities of world

universities.
Students/trainees of the Academy strive to adhere to the rules of academic integrity
and generally accepted moral and ethical standards.

1. General conditions
 This Code of Ethics and Academic Integrity of students/trainees (hereinafter – the
Code of Ethics) defines a system of rules of conduct for students/trainees in the process of
studying at the Academy.
 The Code of Ethics is aimed at creating comfortable learning conditions, the most
favorable psychological climate for students/listeners to communicate with each other, as
well as with the teaching staff and other staff of the Academy.
 The Code of Ethics establishes the rules of conduct at the Academy that are
mandatory for each student/listener.
Students/trainees of the Academy who are civil servants are obliged to follow the

norms of the Ethical Code of Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2015 No. 153
(hereinafter - the Ethical Code of Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

Academy – Republican state-owned enterprise "Academy of Public Administration under
