Short course description:
The course examines a structured form of project management approaches. A holistic vision
of the project management system, types of projects, programs and project portfolios, as well
as methods and tools for managing deadlines, content, and risk management will be presented.
Expected learning outcomes:
Know project management methods and tools; be able to manage risks and changes; make
effective decisions.
2. Conflict мanagement

Semester 1 (Autumn semester)
Short course description:
The course is aimed at developing competencies for effective interaction between the state and
citizens, active interaction with citizens and other stakeholders in the decision-making process;
studying measures to promote full public understanding of the decision-making processes of
the responsible agency and the mechanisms for investigating emerging problems; also to
develop the skills to fully inform the public about the status and progress of the development,
as well as opportunities for obtaining information, submitting comments and other means of
participation; skills in actively collecting the opinions of all interested citizens, their perception
of the goals and objectives of the project, as well as alternative development strategies and
any other information related to the decision making processes.
Expected learning outcomes:
Know and apply techniques for effective interaction between the state and citizens, active
interaction with citizens and other stakeholders in the decision-making process.
3. Legal instruments of state reforms

Short course description:
The course is aimed at developing competencies in applying knowledge of legal support for
socio-economic reforms in modern conditions.

bodies, as well as the mechanism of interaction between parliament and the government of the
Republic of Kazakhstan when considering bills; features of legal administration within the
framework of socio-economic reforms.
