Short course description:
The module is aimed at developing effective management skills and the ability to make
informed management decisions in the field of healthcare and management of healthcare
organizations. During the module, graduate students will study strategic and operational
planning systems as one of the main functions of management in the field of healthcare, as
well as a set of decision-making methods in conditions of certainty, uncertainty and risk.
Expected learning outcomes:
Students will be aware of the specifics of management, economics and public policy in the field
of healthcare and approaches to analyzing the problems of health care functioning and
prospects for its development. Master the methods of conducting independent research in the
field of public health and interpreting the results. Formulate the principles of health promotion
and disease prevention in the public health system. Critically evaluate global health promotion
technologies and apply them in practice, taking into account regional peculiarities, and make
management decisions to improve the epidemiological situation.

Short course description:
The module is aimed at developing practical skills in conducting political campaigns, political
communication, creating a political image, and applying PR and GR management technology.
Expected learning outcomes:
Graduate students will know and apply tactics and strategies of political technologies in the
public administration system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Have the skills to conduct research
on regional policy, create analytical materials on regional policy. Master the basic techniques
of using political technologies, be able to perform the main types of work of an election
campaign technologist, know the main types of information and analytical materials, have the
skills to compile and present them to the client. Understand and be able to apply quantitative
and qualitative sociological methods in political technologies and use sociological methods in
election campaigns, create a political image and successfully apply PR and GR management
technologies.
MODULE 4.8 Spatial development management

Short course description:
The course aims to improve knowledge and develop competencies in rural development. As
part of the course, master's students study the current state, main aspects and tools for
sustainable development of rural areas; regulatory support, economics and social development
of rural areas; mechanisms for the development of housing construction, engineering and
transport infrastructure, increasing the level of household amenities, provision and distribution
of subsidies from the budget for the creation and development of infrastructure; methods for
assessing social development of rural areas; rational environmental management and
improvement of the environmental conditions in rural areas.
Expected learning outcomes:
Graduate students will know the legal, social, economic, environmental aspects of the rural
development; solve management problems in rural development. They will be able to carry out
a comprehensive assessment of the sustainable development of rural areas, to systematize
indicators for assessing the sustainable development of rural areas by analytical blocks, to
