                   Module                                         1 (Autumn semester)
                   Short course description:
                   The course examines a structured form of project management approaches. A holistic vision
                   of the project management system, types of projects, programs and project portfolios, as well
                   as methods and tools for meetings the deadlines, managing the content, and risk management.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Know project management methods and tools; be able to manage the risks and changes; make
                   effective decisions.

                   1. Migration and demographic policy

                   Module                                         2 (Spring semester)
                   Short course description:
                   The  course  aims  to  develop  competencies  in  managing  external  and  internal  migration,
                   demographic policy, which are important factors in sustainable development of the state. The
                   course  also  aims  to  develop  proposals  to  improve  the  efficiency  of  formulation  and
                   implementation of migration and demographic policies in Kazakhstan.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Know and apply tools for analysis, assessment, forecasting and management of migration and
                   demographic processes.

                   2. Public-private partnership

                   Module                                         2 (Spring semester)
                   Short course description:
                   The course aims to study the theoretical foundations and basic principles, features of planning
                   and the use of public-private partnership (PPP) in the interests of the state and society;
                   to develop knowledge about the institutional, including regulatory and legal framework of PPP;
                   to  generate  knowledge  on  how  to  use  PPP  mechanisms  in  various  areas  of  public
                   administration.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Develop skills in state - private sector interactions.
                   Know and apply the basic principles and regulations in public-private partnership.

                   3. Foreign economic policy

                   Module                                         2 (Spring semester)
                   Short course description:
                   The course aims to study the main directions and priorities of Kazakhstan’s foreign economic
                   policy;
                   To  develop  practical  skills  in  analysis,  assessment  and  forecasting  of  foreign  economic
                   processes;
                   To  develop  practical  skills  for  regulation  of  foreign  economic  relations  and  trade  policy;
                   management  of  mechanisms  for  foreign  investment  attraction  and  strengthen  the  national
                   competitiveness of Kazakhstan.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Know  the  major  directions  and  priorities  of  Kazakhstan’s  foreign  economic  policy;  apply
                   effective techniques for regulation, analysis, assessment and forecasting of foreign economic
                   processes
