Short course description:
The course includes studying the role of the Central Asian region in the system of international
relations, problems and prospects of Central Asian integration, common problems (water
diplomacy, security, migration), characteristics of the foreign policy courses of the countries of
the region.
Expected learning outcomes:
They orient themselves in the conditions and prospects for the integration of the states of
Central Asia, the foreign policy courses of the countries of the region, issues of water
diplomacy, geopolitics, and security.
2. The process of global integration

Short course description:
The course examines the main aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation of the Republic
of Kazakhstan, features of Eurasian integration
Expected learning outcomes:
The aim of the course is the ability to analyze the course of negotiations in the context of
modern integration processes, mastering theoretical knowledge about Eurasian integration, its
political and economic prerequisites, history and formation process, analysis of relations
between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.
3. Language competencies of civil servants (English)

Development of free speaking abilities, analytical interpretation and commentary on the
situation, professional and creative language proficiency.

Semester 4 (Spring semester)
Short course description:
The course pays attention to the analysis of the goals and objectives of the parties to the
conflict, their strategies, international agreements aimed at resolving this international situation,
the work of the international community and the states parties to the conflict to prevent the crisis
phase of the conflict. Studying the possibilities of preventing conflicts and the principles of their
resolution, forming a system of knowledge about the general dynamics of conflict aspects of
international political processes in the modern world.
Expected learning outcomes:
They are able to analyze modern conflicts and understand their nature; critically evaluate
various theoretical schools involved in the analysis and resolution of conflicts; are able to apply
