                   Short course description:
                   The course aims to  develop the competencies in city and urban agglomerations management;
                   to study the main components of urban space functioning and development; to develop the
                   diagnostic skills of problems in urban systems; to identify the public needs in urban space and
                   determine measures for their implementation with the aim to improve the living conditions of
                   the population.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Develop  skills  for  effective  management  of  cities  and  urban  agglomerations.  They  will  be
                   involved in the implementation of urban development projects in the following areas: creating
                   a  favorable  business  environment,  development  of  a  comfortable  urban  environment  for
                   citizens,  urban  infrastructure  development,  revival  and  launch  of  new  local  brands,  using
                   modern approaches to managing the development of the territory and making decisions based
                   on data.

                   technologies for resolving social and political conflicts and relieving conflict tensions; skills of
                   analysis, forecasting and conflict prevention.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Know the methods of analysis, forecasting and conflict prevention measures; apply mediation
                   technologies.

                   Short course description:
                   The course aims to study the basic principles of management, the concept of water resources
                   management and features of the water resources management system;The course is aimed at
                   studying  the  basic  principles  of  management,  the  concept  of  management,  as  well  as  the
                   features of the water resources and environmental management system;
                   formation of knowledge about the basic methods of decisions making management in the field
                   of water resources and ecology;
                   studying the features of ecology and water resources, principles and methods of their integrated
                   and rational use.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Know  the  basic  principles,  priorities,  objectives,  and  mechanisms  for  implementing
                   environmental and water policies. Be able to apply basic methods of decisions management in
                   the field of ecology and water resources in Kazakhstan.
